Excavating for Coke Ovens at Horr - A very early picture, this is likely excavating that was being done for the Park Coal and Coke Co. Evidently this was a bit of a ceremony for the workmen with horse-drawn slip and walking plow have been joined by the officials and surveyors with transit and rod - "educational stick." |
