Aldridge - Around the hill to the right of the mine lay this section of the town. The large, dark building in the center was the Praznik boarding house; third house above it (with the big expanse of light-colored roof) was the home of Dave Thomas, best remembered for his large family of sons - eleven of them. A brother of his had eleven daughters. |
