Description |
Site of Horr, Montana, 1964 - From just a bit higher on the hill is shown the area that was once the active coke town. The schoolhouse, one ranch using a number of the small buildings of the old town and the crumbling coke oven remain to mark the spot. Far to the right the section house still stands. The ranchstead where Paul Bergsing (foreman for Howard Kostbade) lives shows its similarity to the one where J.H. Pisor built the big house in 1899. |
