Here is shown the portion of the upper part of town just next to that of Happy Hollow. Note the outdoor toilets, the washtubs hanging on the houses, the water barrels on the porches and the fenced garden areas. The path leads across a little foot bridge which crosses the little coulee at lower right. The coulee to the left of it is marked by a water pipe which sticks out of the ground about two feet where the product of a spring could be caught and carried to the houses. In the immediate lower foreground is the back top end of the mine dump.
